The Annual Food Summit is currently open to receiving abstracts for oral presentations at this year’s Annual Food Summit. The deadline to submit your abstract to become a speaker at this is Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
We invite representatives from the food industry, government and academia to speak on one or more of the following themes:
- Cereals and Pulses
- Food Chemistry
- Food innovation
- Food insecurity
- Food Packaging
- Food Safety
- Food Science Education and Technology Transfer
- Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals
- Genomics
- Interfaces in Foods
- Non-invasive Testing Methods
- Non-invasive Testing Methods
- Nutrition
- Processing
- Sensory Science
- Sustainable Food Systems
Oral presentation abstracts will be reviewed by the Technical Sub-Committee of the Conference Committee. Presenters will be notified if their abstract has been accepted or rejected on or around March 31, 2023.

Before proceeding ahead, please read the following helpful tips.
- We are not asking you to submit your poster at this time. That will come later if your abstract is accepted. However, for your information – the dimension of poster boards is 32 inches wide and 42 inches tall and professionally printed on quality paper stock. Poster display boards and pushpins will be provided for the display;
- To view samples of posters from the 2022 conference, please click this link;
- If you are submitting more than one poster presentation abstract, please submit them separately. Do not try to submit more than one abstract at a time otherwise your entry may be rejected;
- Poster Presentations will take place on Thursday, June 8 (all day) and Friday, June 9 (morning only).
