The Canadian Institute of Food Science & Technology has announced two new events in 2021 and 2022.
CIFST ALT – a Virtual Showcase is a brand-new event that will focus on alternative food products, alternative technologies and innovative alternatives to how the food industry produces and distributes products to end users. Held virtually, the event will showcase leading edge companies in the food and beverage industry. This event combines product promotion in an education environment. There will also be networking via our innovative technology platform. This event will take place on October 27, 2021 from 1 to 5 p.m. EST
CIFST Annual Conference – 2022 Canadian Food Summit – The annual conference is back after a two year hiatus due to COVID. Scheduled for June 1 to 3, 2022, this event will feature programming for food scientists/technologists, industry innovators, government regulators and emerging professionals. There will also be social programming, an exhibits area and a poster competition. The University of Guelph will be the host.
