CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP RATES!
You are eligible for Corporate Membership rates if there are three (3) or more individuals employed by the same company to join or renew as CIFST members. For more information about Corporate Membership Rates, please see the details to the right.
PROFESSIONAL - $215.25
Individuals working professionally in the food sector in industry, government and academia.
Specifically, CIFST By-laws prescribe that:
A Professional Member shall be, (1) a person actively engaged in Food Science and Technology for a period of two years and holding a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a field of science, or (2) a person holding a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in a field of science, or (3) a person who has a minimum of seven years experience in Food Science and Technology and holds a responsible position therein, or (4) a person not actively engaged in Food Science and Technology but who, in the opinion of the committee so designated, qualifies by virtue of past experience and /or specialised training.
CORPORATE (see below for rates)
Corporate Membership consists of a minimum of two full members plus a third and subsequent members. Your company will save a minimum of $40 in membership dues every time an additional member is added to your Corporate Membership. The average dues per person decreases as more members join CIFST from the same company.
All members in the corporate membership receive all membership benefits, both locally and nationally. New individuals can be added to your Corporate Membership at any time during the year. Their membership expiration date becomes that of the corporate membership. Corporate Memberships can be transferred should employees leave the company.
Renewal dues for a corporate membership (a company with 3 or more) are invoiced as a group and sent to the company’s primary member. The dues amount shown on the invoice is based on the total members within the company. Individual dues amounts are not listed on the invoice since the deep discount involved with the 3rd and additional members is not valid should your company fall below the minimum requirement of 3 members. Rates for any given individual may change if there are reductions in the number of members within a company.
