The theme for the 2018 CIFST National Conference will be Healthy Food Revolution: Innovations, Challenges and Future Directions. The annual event will take place May 27 to 29 at the White Oaks Conference Resort in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
“As the result of a recent strategic planning session, our stakeholders are going to begin to notice a difference in the way we deliver content,” said CIFST President and 2018 Conference Committee Co-Chair Mike Nickerson. “Starting in 2018, we will be presenting our conference on an annual basis as opposed to every other year. Information and technology is evolving quickly and holding our conference on an annual basis will allow us to more effectively respond to these changes and offer more relevant information and programming for our members and conference delegates.”
A Call for Abstracts was distributed last month in an effort to find the most timely and relevant presenters for the three-day event. At the same time, a Sponsorship Brochure has been released highlighting the many ways industry partners can get involved and profile their products, services and personnel leading up to and during the conference.
